Course
Time Trial Almere
The Time Trial Almere will be held on the Gooimeerdijk-Oost. With the start and finish near the atmospheric Havenkom and a super-fast course, all the ingredients for an unforgettable event are present. From the start you will cycle over the dike towards the Stichtse Brug. Before you reach it, you will turn around to ride back to Almere Haven via the dike. This round is a total of 14 kilometres long. This year you will drive on the cycle path on the way there, and on the way back you will drive on the motorway. Please note that there is a section of bad asphalt near the Cirkelbos, this section is cordoned off with cones and markings. Here you cycle partly on the left lane (which is possible due to one-way traffic on the dike this year).
The course might change. If so, the course will be updated as soon as possible.
Juniors, Seniors, Masters
28 KM or 42 KM
All participants will follow the same route. The medium distance (28 km) covers two rounds and the participants of the longest distance (42 km) will complete the round three times. The Team Time Trial is also being challenged on the same course and will cover 28 km in two laps.
Youth
6 KM
There is a shorter round especially for the youngest participants. They drive to about halfway along the dike and turn at “Rooibos”, for there time trial over 6 KM.
